What are the consequences of hydrogenated fat in our food?!
Crazy isn't it.. well enjoy the mcdonalds lol.. good luck xx
Answers: fully hydrogenated means that the food has no double bonds. Double bonds are easier to break down in our digestive system and require less energy. When the food is saturated one of two things happens: 1-the body does not have enough energy to break it down, therefore it will be stored as fat. or 2- the body will expense a great amount of energy and it will be broken down like non hydrogenated foods. If scenario 2 happens too much, your body will get tired and resort back to scenario 1. Evidence of this is after you eat McDonalds or other fatty foods. Ever notice how you don't want to move and you feel tired after eating it? That's because you're body was trying to break it down, so in order for it to digest everything, it is slowing down all your other body functions..
