Tapenade is good, or smoked salmon-

Tapenade
1/2 pound pitted mixed olives
2 anchovy fillets, rinsed
1 small clove garlic, minced
2 tablespoons capers
2 to 3 fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

Thoroughly rinse the olives in cool water. Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor. Process to combine, stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl, until the mixture becomes a coarse paste, approximately 1 to 2 minutes total. Transfer to a bowl and serve.

Smoked Salmon Spread:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup finely chopped smoked salmon
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
4 ounces regular or reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons minced red onion
Freshly ground pepper to taste

Using an electric mixer, blender or food processor, mix all ingredients until thoroughly blended and smooth.

Spoon into a crock and cover with plastic wrap.

Refrigerate until serving time, up to 24 hours.

For the record, Nutella is not an Australian chocolate spread. It is actually Italian, and the spread is chocholate and hazelnut. Report It
