Korean style shabu and their curious drinking water?!

Question: i am a big shabu shabu fan, and tonight I went out and had korean style shabu. when we asked for a glass of ice water, our waiter came by with a pitcher of this green-tea looking water, but it tasted like water not tea. we looked around, everyone was drinking it! like its just plain water, only a different color..
what is it? is it ginseng-enhanced water or something?
either way it was all delicious, I was just curious...
