Korean style shabu and their curious drinking water?!
what is it? is it ginseng-enhanced water or something?
either way it was all delicious, I was just curious...
Answers: i am a big shabu shabu fan, and tonight I went out and had korean style shabu. when we asked for a glass of ice water, our waiter came by with a pitcher of this green-tea looking water, but it tasted like water not tea. we looked around, everyone was drinking it! like its just plain water, only a different color..

It's very weak green tea. Koreans like to drink this instead of water.
it is sort of lika green tea, and that is what most restaurants use.
my aunt owns a bulgoki restaurant and she serves the same kinda water as the one youve seen
and if u knew, most (cheap) green tea tastes like hot water, just smells different
so that couldve been just u
