I just can't stop eating sunflower kernels... am I addicted?!
Answers: How dangerous is it to eat a whole pack a day?
You'll know you're addicted when you get into a fight with a flock of sparrows at a bird feeder.
I love them too :) I doubt it's dangerous else there'd be a warning on the packet surely? I love them in salads, on their own or in youghurt
I don't think you are addicted unless you get sick or really crazy when you don't have them available. They do taste good and are good for you. I think you could tell if you are eating too many if your intestinal track gets stopped up or your intestines are uncomfortable.
Not dangerous at all. But, they are addictive. My daughter was as well. She use to go through a couple of packs per day. I put my foot down because of the shellls around my house and in the car...I SAID NO MORE! End of that.
Check the calories in sunflower kernels.....and then check the sodium (if they're salted).
They pack a punch in the calorie department and sodium can be out the wazoo. Just knowing those numbers was enough to make me quit, except putting them on a salad occasionally.
