Avocado and sour cream mixture on hot nachos.
Then I top with jalapeno slices and sprinkle with grated cheese over all

pico de gallo, guacamole, grilled chicken, cheese, jalapeno peppers

Brown some ground beef or pork, add some taco seasoning and sprinkle that onto some corn tortilla chips. Add some fresh crumbled goat cheese, peppers, and some grated sharp cheddar. A couple dollups of sour cream top them off.

Hersheys syrup

The art of a good nacho is not only found in a Mexican restaurant.....

Heat the oven to 400 or so.
Layer corn chips on a baking sheet.
Pour melted velveeta with your choice of ingredients (Rotel, Chili or just milk) over top the chips.
Sprinkle with shredded cheese, a Mexican blend of cheddar and mozzarella.
Also sprinkle with diced onions.
Heat in the oven until the tips of the chips turn golden brown (an expert nacho-maker can smell this from the other room).
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and sour creme.

Variations:
Top with refried beans, pinto beans, black beans, diced chicken, taco meat, or fajita meat before putting in oven.

Spectacular with a side of peppers if your stomach can handle it.

cheese

Not much of a nacho fan, but if I must, real cheese, avocado , a mild salsa and sour cream. Here in Baja they use Cheesewiz and its terrible...tourists like it.

Cheese, ground turkey or beef, sour cream, salsa, cheese, guacamole, lettuce, cheese, and more cheese. Did I mention cheese? Oh, and also cheese! And then as a garnish I put some more cheese. Nachos aren't complete with it!

I like them the way you do.

I've also added black olives, avocado slices, and black or pinto beans, cucumber. I gotta have the chopped onion.

Sometimes I use ground beef instead of the carne asade.

Nachos at our house usually means, nobody wants to cook.

meat, chesse, jalapeno's, refried beans

i really put the regular but try them on with long green chile, or like a salad regular nachos with cheese but top them with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, they are good!!! oh don't forget they sour cream!!!

Hmmm, swiss cheese, with onions and ketcup!
