Answers: im planning to go to amsterdam in the beginning of march this year 2008 and have read that they are banning the sale of magic mushrooms in all of the netherlands ,i would like to know if and when this has taken place

yes you can but you can only get them in a smart shops
Go to the big church (former church) in Amsterdam. This was and still is the place to buy anything you want.

smart shops will sell pretty much anything that's not weeds and not illegal in the Netherlands. Be careful what you buy though some of this stuff is pure junk, some real potent.
