What do they mean when they say....?!

Question: "fresh apple juice from CONCENTRATE" in this case, what does concentrate mean?

Answers: "fresh apple juice from CONCENTRATE" in this case, what does concentrate mean?

It means they distilled and removed some water... from the apple juice... Then re-constitute it later. The reason that they do that... is that it ships better and you can re-add back the water when they bottle it.

Also - fruit drinks - don't spoil as quickly when they are concentrated.

Juice may be marketed in concentrate form, sometimes frozen, requiring the user to add water to reconstitute the liquid back to its 'original state'

that it was frozen and it was freshely defrosted

the longer they reduce the fresh juice down (ie boil off the water from the juice) the longer the shelf life of the concentrate is. Some companies use this and add water to make juice- which in turn has a longer shelf life than fresh squeezed juice.

th juice is cooked down to concentrate the natural flavors and sugars....water is then added before it is bottled to enable large quantities at cheaper cost to the producer
