How long does it take for bread to go bad?!

Question: It usually takes about a week to 10 days before bread goes bad. It depends on what kind of bread you buy. I usually put my bread in the refrigerator after 4 days and it can last 2 weeks.

about a week outside the fridge. Just before it molds it will have a sweet smell to it

Until it gets hard or mold grows on it.

3 - 6 weeks

It depends on how much preservatives are in the bread. Sadly some bread from grocery stores have soo much preservative that I'm pretty sure it's horrible for you. I was taking care of a friend's house, and didn't realize they had bread sitting out.... When I found it, it was already 1 month after they left and it didn't have any mold at all (CREEPY!)

Anyways... Bread from bakeries generally go bad really quickly- probably within a couple of days.
Some breads will be fine for weeks..obviously from my experience. I usually put bread in the refrigerator so it will keep better. However, as soon as there is any mold, throw it out. Dont eat around the mold because there can still be mold that you cant see. You WILL kill your liver if you do that.
