Would you use a modern day milkman?!
Answers: Just doing some research to see if people would use a old fashioned service like the milk man?
omg yes! especially if it came in the glass bottles like in the old days. i was just thinking about this the other day! i wanted to know if there was still a service like that!!
Yeah
sure!! y not?
Sure- why not?
Yeah if I could afford it! My neighbor does it and she loves it!
I wouldn't for the fact that there is no point where I live. Most people don't need a milkman anyway.
yes i would and im sure the milk would be fresher and tastier
there is a guy by us and YES! its great Do it
I for sure would... I live in an old house with a little door on it for that purpose and it would be awesome to actually use the thing :)
Never used enough of the stuff to warrant it, sorry.
I would. I think it was a nice part of American life.
yes if it were organic. it would be so fresh! and delivered in glass that they pick up and reuse next time. it would be from a local farmer and i like to support local farmers.
No... My family does not drink enough milk, nor is our drinking pattern stable enough to justify having a fixed amount shipped to our house on a regular basis.
I think the milk man concept worked back in the 60's when (as a kid) I remember the service was still around. Like many others, we were a one-car family, so my mother would only shop for food once/week.
We use a milkman because they dont add hormones to the products. They now deliver more than just milk which is great.
It is still popular with some rich people. I myself would love it; as long as the cost wasn't horrifying and the milk was better quality (fresher). But the logistics of this, unless you own a dairy farm, are difficult. Because most people can stop at a gas station next to their home, there is not as much of a need and that is why it is obsolete.
doubt ful in todays economy! There are simply to many people out there for a "milkman" to take care of efficiently!
Would love to have a milkman bring me milk
yes and do they deliver all dairy products or just milk i mean like chocolate milk. cheese, cottage cheese etc
