Best cookware for under $250?!
Answers: I was looking for some great cookware under $250 I loved Rachel Ray's Anodized set and heard great reviews but also wanted to keep my options open and see what everyone else thinks is great cookware. I am looking for a basic pot and pan set 6-10 pieces and budget is anything $250 and under. Please give me opinions on Rachel Ray's set and others. Thanks so much!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Salvation army!
Rachel Ray's set is great and now when i cook for my daughter is actually fun. I guess its a miracle. Also, Crate and Barrel or IKEA have great kitchenware if your making a big dinner.

Anything by Williams-Sonoma is quality. They sell a lot of Calphalon, which is really good, and you can buy it at Williams-Sonoma, Bed Bath and Beyond, and a few other places. I got this frittata pan from Calphalon, bought it at Williams-Sonoma, and it's great!!! Non-stick works, and it's really good quality.
I have the RR set and I love it! It's great for just about anything!
emeril has great ware that is really affordable !! you can find his stuff on sale at almost any department store
if her anodized set is under $250 I would get it. I have a Chapelon set that is about 6 years old and doing well.
I would avoid the beautiful stainless sets tht you see, if you really cook alot then those will show scratching and weart more than a good anodized set.
Like I said the Chapelon stuffis great, but you won't get a 6 piece set in your budget. You could probably put togeather a few essential pieces though.
YOU apparently are looking for Rachel Ray's cookware at a reasonable price. I want for you to look at the website below. Many brand named products are usually offered at better prices on this website. I wish you much success.
go with buying them seperate.. its better to have 5 good pans than 6-10 decent ones.. get a saute pan with a bottom to clobber sombody with, a cast iron to "grill" inside with, omlet pan for omlets, and a stock pot for soups ect., a sauce pan wouldnt hurt either..
downside to this the saute pan and stock pot would be close to 250 to start. but i wouldnt go cheap on the saute pan.
