Do they really eat dog meat in China?!
Answers: Is it true that dog meat is listed in restaurants' menus?
People in low poverty in China eat rat, cat, and dog...dog is openly eaten in Korea, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam,
it is considered a delicacy and is normal to order dog from a restaurant menu, just like ordering a steak here in usa.
Yes...and they spit on the floor all the time too..disgusting...
Yep, and in korea.
Yes, they do eat it. And also horse meat. Horse meat is considered a delicacy there and in many other countries as well.

YAKH YAKH
in some places you will find it on the menu it is considered in some places too a delicacy
Yes diferent cultures diferent foods, it is perfectly acceptable to eat dog and cat meat in China and Thailand just like we eat (Well not me, I am a vegan) chicken, beef, fish etc..... it's a cultural thing!
Now, would you put Fido in your plate?
So I have heard, but I have also heard that the seniors in Florida that can't afford food because they have to pay too much for meds, have eaten cat food. To each his own. Some countries eat food that are delicacies to them and disgusting to us in the USA. They probably think we eat nasty things and are all fat! Look out........it's the Year of the Rat!
Yes
They even eat cat
See them in the philippines buying cats for thier meals
yes but long long time ago....................
i don't know about menus but i have ate it in korea + here in the US at a oriental rest , it was not called that but i know what it was . hmmmm that was not pork -chicken or beef . seriously though i would know the taste of dog anywhere i went . it's not uncommon in some other countries + is quite the norm , not everyone thinks the same things we do . goat, rabbit etc are not normally found in the larger grocery stores but i could go to the local mexican grocer + get both today if i wanted
They don't list dog meat in restaurant menus!!!!
IN asia it's not unusual to hear sum1 eating dog..BUt this I tell you, u shud not generalize this statement. Only a few eat dogs and usually those people belong to the lower forms of living(but not all), sumtyms it's a part oof culture. In china not all "spit" or eat dogs, only those who are unaware of the danger it myt bring to their health r the ones who eat, even in the Philippines, not all of them eat dogs..it's probably less than 5%of the total population so don't get it wrong.if ur thinkin of discriminating them bcoz of wht they do or eat or wtvr well, do not coz it's not enuf basis..
yeah.
they do.
sadly.
i saw them slautering them in a restaurent when i went back to visit
Yes. But although it seems strange to us that in Asia it is common to eat cat and dog meat, even horse meat, here it is seem common, even mundane, to eat chickens, pigs and cows.
yes. in china and few other asian countries. you can go to a market and see dead little chihuahuas or even st bernards meat being sold. sometimes the dogs are headless. in china, the slaughtering is done near the sea and the sea becomes red with blood. they eat cats too, skin them alive and make them into soups. the chinese have a saying that says 'anything that swims, walks or flies can be eaten.' soon the chinese will be eating people too. so you better be afraid. in korea, families sometimes send their family dog to be slaughtered to be dinner. no wonder these people look ugly, they ARE ugly.
