Healthy foods that taste good?!
Answers: Lately my main focus is food. It seems everywhere i go there is so much junk food. Very little healthy food. And i thought to myself "Why does all junk food taste so good, but all healthy food tastes sort of icky?" I don't know why it's always like that. So does anyone know of anything that is healthy and good?!
delicious ealthy food:
-yogurt
-cereals
-fruits
-jams
-plan chocolate
-almonds
i love yogurt and it's really ealthy, it has a lot of calcium and if before eating you put it in the freezer for a while [like 20 minutes] it will taste just like icecream but less in fats!!
more over if you add at your yogurt a pinch of chocolate chips or berries will be absolutely fantastic. i love also yogurt and cheerios stirred together...or plan white yogurt with a tablespoon of jam!!! yummi http://flickr.com/photos/seitti/43966605...
i love corn flakes and, for instance, i use to eat those at the movies, instead of pop corns!!!

fruits...well i love almost all the kind of fruits...my favourite are apples! they taste so good!! if i really want something good i melt some dark chocolate and i dip fruit in it...like grapes, pears, apples, strawberries or oranges!!
moreover you can make delicious fruit salads with peaches, apricotts, pears, pineapple and babanas!!
jams are delicious on toasts!!!
plan chocolate is good for your ealth and mood...the point is do not overdoe!!!
almonds and nuts are a good resource of proteins...and they taste good! ^^
FRESH SALSA!!!!!
The more junk you eat the more you crave it. While we can't tell you what foods you'll like, since taste is subjective, just try cutting out foods with sugar and flour. Switch your bread to whole grain, eat lean cuts of meat....chicken can be prepared a million different ways, try adding in more veggies and fruit and whole grain cereals.
fruits!! locally grown are usually the best.
I don't know what you are calling 'healthy food'...could you be more specific? Because to me healthy food is far more tasty that processed junk, which mostly tastes like salt.
If you are used to that overly salty taste, invest in a bunch of good seasonings to use with your fresh veggies and fruits, some organic maple syrup, good olive oil, sea salt, pepper blends, etc.
If by 'healthy food' you mean premade so-called 'healthy dinners' or other processed food, I agree it all tastes like crap. You have to learn to cook some things yourself from real ingredients. Processed food is the worst.
Guacamole typically gets a bad wrap because it is fatty, but they are good fats! It tastes so good with cilantro, lime juice, roasted poblano pepper, chopped red bell pepper, and garlic in it!
Jasmine rice!
Broiled salmon with soy/sesame/ginger/wasabi/rice wine vinegar sauce!
Brussels sprouts roasted with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper!
I could go on all day!
Frozen grapes are lovely. I also adore lettuce mixed with salsa, hummous, apples sprinkled with cinnamon, oatmeal/porridge, dried fruit and chocolate cake. The last one's not so good. X
