Anyone remember an Alpine Crunch Bar from the 80's?!

Question: I have done an exhaustive search and all I can find is information about a nestle alpine white bar. The one I am referring to came in a silver foil wrapper with a picture of a snow covered mountain and pine trees on it. It is possible this too was a nestle but I am not sure. Does anyone have any info on it for me? This was my absolute favorite as a kid!

It was the white chocolate version of the Nestle's Crunch bar.For a while they went to a single layer of Aluminum Foil 'tube' to speed up wrapping, then went back to the old logo. It's hard to print on foil, they would have minimized the colors as well,as it won't absorb the excess ink. When they perfected the printing they went back to the original logo.Hershey's "Cookies and Cream" had a similar look with a glass of milk and Oreo's being dipped.

This candy bar was great. Here is the TV commercial for it :)

i remember something about the wrapper you are talking about but it is so out of reach in my mind i can't pull it up. anyways, if it is the alpine white bar you are wanting to taste again, i totally recommend you trying to make your own. use the white chocolate chip morsels...not white chocolate bark, not the same. chop up almonds of your choice, stir them in the melted morsels and spread it on some foil on a baking sheet....viola! something that might be like the bar you are looking for. and ugh....thanks to the posting of the the commercial in this question, i'll be singing that song ALL day long...lol

OMG! I was just talking to my husband last nite about this candy bar! They sale white chocolate nestle crunch at the 99cent only store here in texas, but not the original alpine white with almonds that they made in the 80's. The nestle white chocolate crunch tastes just like the alpine crunch bar to me.
