Support Section on YA for Omnivores?!

Question: I think there should be a category on YA, in the food and drink section for people who like eating meat.
Since there is a section for Vegans and Vegetarians, there should be one for Omnivores.
It would only be fair.
I thought that humans were one big melting pot, but after reading that meat eaters are disgusting, and that "our body is a house of corpses", I now feel differently about that. Vegetable and animal politics can get pretty serious. LOL

This could be a section of recipes for BBQ cooking, cooking the game that you hunt, butchering an animal properly , and learning how to properly cook meat you buy both in the meat market, and the supermarket.

We can love animals and enjoy meat too, what do you think about it?

Yum Yum eatum up!

It has been kind of a desire of mine to know how to properly dress a fresh kill. You can't always trust the meat at the market you know. Personally I get real irritable when my diet doesn't contain an abundance of animal flesh. I think that I may be evolving into a carnivore, is there anybody out there who has experienced this? I like the support forum idea.

The way I look at this issue is that the entire food & drink category is an omnivore category, except of course, the vegetarian section.

I don't think it needs to be spelled out. We're smart people. At least I hope that people are smart, but there are some definite dimwits.

I love it. Polished off a rack of ribs earlier today. Also saw an old episode of Ellen where you can eat three steaks, with beans and mushrooms, compared to 1 Veggie Burger. (Calories and Fat wise). If I left off the beans and mushrooms, I think I could do four steaks! (I'm in Europe right now, not a lot 'english' speaking shows, that's why I was watching Ellen (really!)

OMG, just weighed in on question about raising a 3 month old as a vegan. All I said was poor lil' boy, glad you weren't my parents. Wasn't a popular answer on that site...

I think it's a good idea! I'm totally with you, some animals were put on the earth to be eaten... And some are here to be our company... Thats what I believe...
But yeah I think that should be a section on here!

I'm in.

I certainly would support such a move. I'm sure that Flexitarian Vegetarians ... those of us who eat fish, seafood, poultry and sometimes "red" meat in small amounts ... would probably find it more "normal" than to be involved with the veggie-nazis .....

I agree completely

Great idea, I would love to see that! lol

I'm an omnivore and it's clear the whole food section is for omnivores. Even vegers are omnivores that just choose to not eat animal flesh. I eat animal flesh, but they don't.

BTW-there is no such thing as a flexitarian vegetarian. A flexitarian is a subgroup of omnivore, on the same level as vegetarian. They claim to eat meat 2-3 times per week which comes out to 112-168 times per year. That's not remotely vegetarian. If they do start a new section, please, by all means, take Skully with you.

I hope you guys have a nice night (or day depending on where you are). :-)
