I usually drink a glass of milk with a spicy meal, seems to help me.
Drink milk. It stops the burn from the peppers and other spices.
Prolly milk ... or even better ice cream!!!

i've found milk is good for taming the spicey foods.
If I drink liquids it tends to float and spread the oils and makes it worse. If I'm at home I grab a piece of bread. This soaks up the heat. If I'm at a Mexican restaurant I ask for a tortilla.

Cold Mango juice!!! I read a scientific reason why this was the only thing that helped remove the spicy tang.

Believe me, I know this one, milk. Water will not help at all. I have always drank milk with chili because it would neutralize the spiciness.
