Which cuts of steak are better quality?!

Question: I don't know much about the cuts of steaks but recently I bought boneless top round steak and also round tip
steak (cap off).
The prices wasn't that much difference between the two.
Could you tell me what the difference is between the two steaks. Thanks.

Round Tip is the better cut of steak,it contains cap muscle of sirloin and we all know that sirloin is/are the best cut(s) of meat, next to T-Bone, - most top round steaks are used for "Hamburger", "Salisburysteak" and are generally used by those of us who can't afford $30.00 bucks for the T-Bone. Hope that this answered your question, next time you can "Google" steak

they are the same cut just from a different part

the top round should be slightly more lean and tender

The best cut for the grill = Porterhouse, Rib Eye & sirloin

1. Porterhouse (fillet mignon or New York strip) - super thick (more than two inches tall)

2. Rib Eye - knows for its beautiful marbling and its juiciness.

3. Sirloin ( hip cut in several senses) tend to be chewier.
( popular ones)

They are both about the same quality steak.....The better of the 2 would depend on which one has more marbling....Making it more the more tender of the 2.
meat with less fat content do better in a slow cooking method...such as stewing ....or pounded to break down the meat prior to cooking.....
