well because black elfs dont exists.
Frankly, the areas from whence the stories about elves originated were pretty much inhabited by white folks. People made up tall tales using the imagery they were familiar with. The very, very few blacks were virtually ignored. Fer instance, there are no tales of black Gremlins or Leprechauns, either. What, you though racism a recent phenomenon?

have you ever seen a black elf any where ? Its not that big of deal i don't see native amercan Indian's elf or Chinese elfs or any other race as elfs so why make a big deal out of a non black elf ,
edit * well i can say one thing to seeing a elf lol sound strange but as i was 16 and on my own i was travling with some friends and had some of there water to drink come to find out they added speed to it well going down the road i looked down and saw a guy with pointed ears wearing a green suit reading a book he even lookup at me and smiled lol does that count as seein a elf he was white by the way lol

People keep using the response of "where have you seen a black elf"...my response to that is where have you seen an elf period, and please don't use my fantasy novels, Dungeons and Dragons / Lord of the Ring variations to explain it.

Because at the time Keebler was looking to hire the elfs, the black elfs were getting their welfare check so they missed the window of opportunity.
