CHICKEN
sounds odd.. but people get really hungry, when their there for such a long time.. i for one don't like only snaking on crips alone!!

you could buy a few whole chickens.. the ones pre-made in the supermarket.. some times they do 2 for 1 offers

you could set up a cute buffet, where if you want to go the whole 10yards you could make it like a subway style sandwich... hhhmmm, yummy, my mouth is watering thinking about it now.
if it costs a little too much, you could charge your guests like £1 per sandwich..(but that's not wise)
to cut costs you could however just stick with normal bread and put the sandwich in the middle.. tastes the same but cheaper

sweet and sour meat balls

1 package premade meatballs
1 small jar grape jelly
1 bottle chile sauce

Melt the jelly and chile sauce together in a pan and then add meatballs--stir to coat then transfer to a crockpot. Have toothpicks ready. YUM!

tortilla rollups
1 package large tortillas
2 8oz packages softened cream cheese
1/2 cup salsa (I like hot)
2 green onions--minced
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 small can minced black olives

combine the cream cheese, salsa, green onions, cheese and black olives and mix well. Spread evenly over the tortillas and roll the tortillas up as tight as you can. Place them seam side down on a cookie sheet and toss in the fridge for about 30 minutes to firm up (or wrap in cling wrap and store up to a week. Just before serving, slice into 1 inch pieces. serve with more salsa. absolute heaven.

I like eating veggies with a low fat dip. I'm not on a diet, but I hate to be served only oily, fatty, salty snacks. I always try to choose the healthiest snacks. Also if there are young kids, parents appreciate it when there's a healthier choice of snacks.

Cucumbers, brocoli, carrots, celeris, green peppers, etc. with a low-fat ranch and sour cream dip or with low fat yogourt or any other low-fat dip.

Buffalo wings!!! woot

open top egg mayo sarnys yahuuum!!! love em

Crackers and dip of any kind. Salmon, salsa, cheese, spinach... or a cheese, cracker and meat tray.

I really love artichoke and spinach dip with pita chips.

That, or roasted red bell pepper dip.

Oh, or hummus.

Crab stickes, chicken bites, Baguette slices with chesse and tomato on top.
