Is ketchup on hotdogs really a texas thing?!
Answers: i just saw the bad news bears remake today and this kid says, "My dad says the only people who put ketchup on hot dogs are mental patients, and Texans." i've lived in texas all my life so i'm wondering if ketchup on hotdogs is weird in other states?

interesting question, i've never heard that one, so i looked it up and apparantly, ketchup on hot dogs is a kids thing...
coulda fooled me. i love ketchup on hotdogs, and i find it's mustard, not ketchup that ruins the flavor.

Most Children Love Ketchup on everything. No it is not a Texas thing. Only the losers in the world would ever put Ketchup on a Hot Dog. Try getting a Chicago Hot Dog. They are the only ones worthy of being digested anyway. All the crappy Slaw Dogs or Skin Thrashers are crap.
Actually, I think it's just that Chicago hot dogs don't have ketchup at all- it's frowned upon, there (and I get grossed out just thinking about it).
If the hot dog is a quality sausage, I can't imagine putting ketchup on it. Of course, most Americans don't know real hot dogs (if you don't believe me try a Hebrew National dog).
