What is a good non alcoholic drink that doesnt have aspertame and is low in calories?!

Question: The reason why I am asking, is because I'm not a big fan of water, I drink it cause I need to and I really am not big on water.
I am overweight and I drink a lot of pop, mostly sprite, and I am trying to wean completley off of pop because I realize it's high calorie and sugar content. However, I'm having a difficult time finding a drink that I can drink, that tastes good, but has no aspertame (I don't like aspertame and I don't think it's good for us) or other artificial sweetners, and I am just looking for something tasty, yet good for me. Any suggestions? any ideas are great, whether they are non alcoholic cocktails, or fruity drink recipes, I'm open to any suggestion as long as it's not full of calories or artificial sweatners.
Thanks!

I like the Bolthouse Farms fruit smoothies, especially the Berry Boost and the C-Boost. They (especially the C Boost) are very high in Vitamin C. They also don't have the 'stale' taste associated with regular fruit juice. They actually taste fresh and that's why I love them.
What about tea, or herbal tea? Do you drink coffee? Use stevia to sweeten tea or coffee. Stevia is a zero calorie sweetener and is harmless. It is natural as well. It is a byproduct of sugar production in the stevia plant but it cannot be used by the human body.

avoid beer and wine but especially beer. I'm not sure what aspertame is but as for taste I would always go for Irish Whiskey or a really good single malt scotch-whiskey. those are great in taste and I'm pretty sure are not high in calories.

use fruit juice concentrate, and mix it with half the amount of water, when you drink it, mix in 1/2 juice, and 1/2 club soda.

it's fruit juice, but it's fizzy like a soda

drink mix with no calories

You don't leave yourself many options really, except unsweetened tea which you can add a tiny amount of sugar. Or squeeze some lemon or orange juice into some water.

Fruit juices, and virgin cocktails aren't really going to help you. Fruit juices have just as much sugar and calories as soda.

I feel the same way as you and I'm trying to get off of pop too. I like Fruit 2 O, the fruit flavored water, it tastes good and I no artificial sweetner. I also like flavored teas because they taste sweeter than regular tea. I get Republic of Tea brand in Ginger peach and it doesn't even need sugar because it tastes so good. They have lots of other flavors too like coconut, vanilla, blueberry, and so many more. I would definitely give teas a try and there good for your health in many ways too. good luck :)

Another idea for a good treat, I take chocolate soy milk and add a frozen banana... very yummy.

You could make a batch of sweet tea. If you make it yourself you can control the sugar content and flavor to your liking. I make a big batch every week. All you need to do is boil a quart of water and steep 4 tea bags in it. Then pour it over raw sugar (better to digest). Then add cold water to cool it and thin it. Squeeze fresh lemon juice in for more flavor! Flavor is what your craving so stick with natural things like lemon.

non-alcoholic? Why bother?
drink water. it's cheap and plentiful

Water...

Orange flavored Gatorade is great!.. Ginger Ale is another personal favorite..it has no caffeine in it..
What about tea?

1. THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER AND HUMAN HEALTH
“I'm dying of thirst!"

Well. We just might. It sounds so simple. H20. Two parts hydrogen, one part oxygen. But this element, better known as water, is the most essential, next to air, to our survival. Water truly is everywhere, still most take it for granted.
Q. Are you drinking the amount of water you should every day?

1. 75 percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated. (Likely applies to half world population.)

2. In 37 percent of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.

3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as three percent.

4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost a hundred percent of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.

5. Lack of water, the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.

6. Preliminary research indicates that 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80 percent of sufferers.

7. A mere two percent drop in body water can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page.

8. Drinking five glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45 percent, plus it can slash the risk of breast cancer by 79 percent, and one is 50 percent less likely to develop bladder cancer.

I don't like water either but force myself to drink it. I like crystal light or some of the store brands of the same type of product but the low calorie varieties do have artificial sweetners and you're right they aren't good for you and can actually trick you body into slowing weight loss by releasing more insulin which is a fat building hormone.
One of the ways I force myself is by filling a quart jar and guzzling it about half at a time. I fill it at least two times a day and use it for taking vitamins and anytime I don't want to eat or overeat. Also just adding a squeeze of lemon or lime to your water makes it go down a little easier.

i have become a non-aspartame expert (lol) since aspartame became a huge migraine trigger so here you go....
drinks that have splenda:

diet rite--comes in many yummy flavors
diet rc cola
diet bubba cola(from save a lot if you have one)
crystal light orange in the bottle (not the powdered stuff--that has aspartame)
iced tea you brew yourself
kool aid packets--add your own splenda instead of sugar
make your own lemonade take 1/2 lemon, water and sweeten with spleda to taste

splenda is expensive--so go to sheetz, buy an mto, then go by the coffee section and take a whole bunch...thats how i stock up. or i steal it from resturants

go splenda!!!

oh and non splenda drinks that are good:

just take ice water and squeeze in a little lemon or lime. makes it taste pretty good, better than plain water.
