Why can't you push the popcorn button when microwaving?!

Question: I am just wondering. It would make life alot easier.

Answers: I am just wondering. It would make life alot easier.

haha yea, i love that. They mass produce all these microwaves that have a popcorn button that is completely useless. And then all the popcorn bags say "don't use the button". it just cracks me up.

I can push it and do. The question is, why don't you?

idk

Different microwaves have different settings, times, etc for the popcorn button. They say that on the bag so you don't set it for to long and have the bag catch on fire. However, I use it and on my microwave it's the perfect setting.

Because the popcorn will probably burn. Instead just listen for the pops. Once there is a second or two delay between pops, turn off the micro. Who knows why the popcorn button is on there when it so clearly doesn't work.

I don't know. Maybe the butter isn't melted yet? Anyway, microwaving popcorn is bad for you. Try to pan pop it or get a popcorn popper and add the butter and salt and whatever you put in your popcorn afterwards.

I bought some and it says not to use the popcorn button? I will try it why not.

you should settle to pushing the popcorn button because the microwave knows when the popcorn will pop all of it instead of burning.
even though the bag of popcorn tells you how long to put it in for, you shouldnt listen to it beceause some microwaves are different and work differently

oh really?? I can push and it and it microwaves
but I guess something is wrong with your microwave or something
i don't know
