Pistachio Ice Cream?!

Question: I live in Scotland and sadly because of illness, I am unable to get out of my home, so I rely a lot on 'home delivery' services.

I really enjoy Pistachio Ice Cream, but cannot find it in any of our 'big' supermarkets.

Is there some reason why places like TESCO; ASDA; MORRISON's and SAINSBURY's; LIDL's, ICELAND etc. don't sell this particular flavour?

In a well written email, I once suggested to TESCO and ASDA that they might consider selling Pistachio Ice Cream, but, dare I say it, neither of the supermarkets concerned bothered to answer my email and I was very disappointed when their Customer relations just ignored me!

Where am I going to find Pistachio Ice Cream?

Maybe someone from the big supermarkets, after reading this question, will answer it!

I do hope that someone can help me.

Hi there... I know you are most likely asking for a supply source...

But have you considered buying an ice-cream maker yourself and getting a recipe for Pistachio Ice Cream? You'll have in the end what you want and will have an interesting time making it. Depending on the ice-cream machine you get, it will require you to freeze a special mixing bowl and then adding milk, sugar and flavours are you desire.

A motorised scrapping device will shear off a thin layer of frozen mixture off the sides of the frozen bowl until you have a full bowl ready to eat!

Imagine the other flavours you could find and make. And most importantly, it will be fresh and wholesome ice-cream.

Not mass produced fair...

Anyway, good lick- er luck sir...

I'll send you some via Fed ex

You could make some- looks pretty simple

Or alternatively, have you tried local take-a-ways? They sell ice cream, one might to a pistachio flavour as Haagen Dazs do one

Yeh, I have the same problem, and I can not be bothered to make Ice-Cream that much

You should write to the head of the company and tell them what you just said. Inform them that you did not get any answers from public relations. Be polite but firm. Say how you like their stores but your relationship with them has diminished because you feel that they do not care about you and your concerns.
