Cheese and milk?!

Question: my husband gets a metal plate and puts some grated cheese on it and then covers the cheese with milk and then puts it under the grill until the cheese goes all bubbly and golden and when its done he dips buttered bread in it does anybody else like to eat this

He must have got this from his parents, my dad always does cheese and milk like this and on a metal plate, the plate is about 50 years old, he got the recipe from his aunty, she would have been 100 last year.

I use a skillet to melt the cheese and then just eat the crunchy parts.

oh god my mum used to make me that when i was little but with bits of bacon in it too,yum i think ill be trying that tomoz cheers,you must try it its nice

Yeh,, My Nan Makes That She Uses The Oil From It And Pours It Over The Bread Before Putting It In The Oven To Go Crispy.
