Would a person From Kentucky (or any other place in America) like Vegemite?!

Question: It is an acquired taste Dave, I personally love it, I am in New Zealand, but it is made in Australia, and is popular over here.
Some people like to smother their toast with it like they would butter.
I use butter and enough Vegemite to cover the tip of the knife.

I only like a Vegemite sandwhich if it is with fresh white bread.
Lettuce and Vegemite, and Cheese and Vegemite sandwhiches are popular and when toasted (the cheese ones) taken on a sweeter taste.

It is also good to stir into stews and casseroles.

It is also Vegan/Vegetarian friendly, unlike its English cousin Marmite, which is similar and has even harsher taste.

If they tasted it and liked it, i'm sure it doesn't matter where they were from.

Sorry, I have tried it and believe it must be an Aussie thing. Can't imagine actually choosing to eat a Vegemite sandwich.

Wow. Just plain Vegemite? They eat that? No....salami or peanut butter or anything? I'd seriously think about this one Dave. It sounds exotic. And by exotic, I of course mean, highly suspect. Do you think its organic?

According to my internet friend down under Vegemite is some pretty nasy stuff.

Yes you will LOVE it!! Just dont let the smell get to you, and dont apply it too thick for your first taste....
And dont smoke it through a pipe!!

I'd be willing to try it! You never know what you will like until you try new stuff!

Whas Vegemite? Oh that's right I forgot I can on;y speak Italian in your question. Perdona me, che cosa e Vegemite?

It just doesn't sound as good as moms biscuits and gravy...
