FDA limits 30 insect parts per 100 grams of peanut butter. But I've heard what you really need to watch out is fungus. Supposedly most peanut butter has minute amounts of mutagenic fungus that won't really affect the average consumer. But I knew a girl who went through a jar a week...

PLEASE don't do this, I am a diabetic and need to eat food. This really upsets my mind and stomach.
