Best way to freeze bread?!

Question: I usually just put the bread straight in the freezer in its original wrapper, Ive read you can wrap it in alfoil then a plastic bag, or use a freezer bag, does anyone know if this works better than what i do? thanks

wrap it twice (alternate direction) in waxed paper, then wrap it three times (alternating direction) in plastic (i.e. Saran) wrap, then put in a zip lock freezer bag. You can use the zip lock freezer bag over and over, but you have to change the waxed and plastic every time you freeze a different loaf or set of rolls.

put it in the freezer

i leave it in the original bag no problems at all

yeah, we put it in foil and then a freezer bag.
works pretty good.

Its original bag is fine. A freezer bag will offer a bit more protection from freezer burn. It really depends how long it will be frozen.

original bag....

Just pop it in there. It should be fine like that for a few weeks.

freezer bag or foil

put it in a freezer

Sorry! I do the same as you. I put the whole loaf in the freezer in the original bag.

I leave it in the original packaging.
