I have the same problem and now use rice milk. Tastes just about the same as cows milk......even better. Give it a try. You can even get individual boxes that are just enough for your bowl of cereal. They also have flavors...vanilla and chocolate....of course a bit sweeter.
I like it. It's pretty good. Get the vanilla soymilk, and you won't even have to add sugar.
mmm.. try alpro soya milk. I hate normal mlk but soya milk is sooooooo yummy..... its like quite sweet i even drink it by itself. deffo go for soya milk ;) x
NASTY!!
I don't like soy milk it's too sweet and the color is not appetizing.
I'm not a huge fan of it. I mix half lactaid free milk and half soy--VANILLA FLAVORED. My favorite soy milk is called 'Soy Slender' and it's shelf stable. For some reason it tastes less.....soy like? I don't know, but it's my preferred brand. I still mix half/half though! Plain tastes--blech, go for vanilla flavored!
taste like chicken
gross, but if you miss cereal that much try it. Get a small container of it and just try it. My sister is allergic to milk and she even makes her own soy ice cream.
never tried that
im sure its good with cereal cause i have tried vanilla soy milk with oats that had blueberries in it for breakfast and i swear it tasted like a dessert but i suggest only getting vanilla cause i tasted the chocolate soy milk and it taste like s*hit
I am so used to soy milk that cow milk tastes gross to me(I used to love it) I like Silk or Edensoy or Pearl. Vanilla flavor is too sweet for me, but if you like sweet it would be good.
If you are worried about weird taste, try different brands, because they are quite different. Rice milk is fine but too watery for me. Almond milk is really yummy, and very normal tasting, but a bit expensive.
Don't give up.
It's good. Almond milk is good too! Vanilla is the way to go!
