Bourbon Biscuits ?!

Question: Hi all,

I seems to remember from a while ago reading something about how Bourbon Biscuits contain some type of fat which is a "killer" fat and really damages the body. It was only found in a small number of foods - one of which was the brown bit in a Bourbon Biscuit.

Am I going mad or does anyone know about this ?

Tx !

Yes i know what you mean it was found also in Worcester sauce crisps and other fatty foods I'm sure it was a die.But these foods are not aloud to be sold with that substance in any more so you have nothing to worry about the biscuits should be safe :).

I hope not!! I love bourbon biscuits!!!

Never heard that before

I love Bourbon Biscuits!! I didn't know anything like that!! :@

Have not heard it!

people been eating bourbons for years and ive never known anybody dying from it.

You may be thinking of trans fats which can be dangerous - they are banned in some countries. Shame, I didn't know bourbons had them - I love bourbons!!

Which particular ' brown bit' in the biscuit are you talking about, the last time I saw a Bourbon Cream Biscuit it was all brown!

no don't think i have heard about that , do you remember where you saw it , trouble is in a couple of years they will turn it round and say they are very good for you , i tend to ignore stuff like that as it changes from year to year

the only one i can think of is saturated fats anyway all biscuits can kill you has they have to much sugar in them,

It was probably spread by the custard cream manufacturers.

I've eaten Bourbon biscuits before and haven't experienced any health problems.Maybe you're just paranoid or something or just looking at the ingredients can make you think it's unhealthy and dangerous.By the way i got some now in my cupboard want one?
