oily? I guess if it was dipped in oil it would be oily. I live in boston, we eat fish all the time. i never heard of an oily fish. must be from another part of the world.

Depends on the fish and how it is prepared; Salmon can be oily (the oil from salmon is the Omega 3 oil which is so good for you) unless it is prepared well and grouper which I dislike because I had it prepared badly once. I stick to tilapia (which I prepare myself) and swordfish, sometimes shark, and tuna which I eat raw and cooked. ALL fish is great when done on the BBQ!

Yes love nice oily mackarel,salmon and kippers.It was tasty.I also eat Trivali,tuna which is my fav,sardines, red snapper and parrotfish.(Including prawns)
