Beef recall?!


Question: I just bought 2 packages of ground beef last week we ate one package and I froze the other. How do I know if my meat is safe to consume? I bought it raw at a local supermarket A&P in New Jersey..

This beef has been consumed. If there was some in the freezer, it would be freezer burnt, and useless!

There are many reasons this recall was issued, but there is not enough space.

I would call the supermarket where you bought it and ask if they're beef was included in the recall. Better safe than sorry.

The recalled meat mostly went to schools and poor people and apparently has been frozen for a long time. You're probably ok, but I think there was a list of the recalled stuff on CNN.

The recall was the California....and where they distribute....if you call the store you got it from and ask..they can help

the re-call affected the West Coast. The meat was NOT tainted, rather the record keeping wasn't up to par, so the FDA is teaching them a lesson. You're safe.
