Since the meat recall, how many of you are no longer eating beef?!
Answers: I never really ate beef very much but after I saw how they have been treating the animals im completly disgusted and will be cutting beef completly out of my diet.....and i was just wondering how many of you feel the same?
Becoming AWARE of exactly what product is affected, is part of the problem..Spinach farmers last year went broke, because 1 field was affected! Do we stop eating?
I do not condone any of these companys, however as a consumer it is your duty to make sure your family is safe, by BEING AWARE. This is 1 [old] recall
That is why www.totalrecallinfo.com was formed.
A one-stop shop for ALL recalls worldwide.
Thank you for reading, and take care.

I haven't eaten beef since i was a child. I dislike it.
Interesting, I was eating ham last night & thought the same
I don't see why the inhumane treatment of cows at one slaughter house should change your eating habits. It is not typical of how cattle are handled at slaughter.
I think the fruits and nuts will use this as leverage to reinforce their position.

Its already Lent, and I plan to just quit eating beef...its scary.
lady this is lie and you know it. If your really concerned, then stop drinking milk and stop eating chickens because well they get treated as bad, so c'mon dont try an sound all caring when we all know your not. look im not trying to come of like an s-hole but at least im not showing some pseudo-compassion for something that your only doing because it's what hip right now. If you want to do something complain to the FDA for being money hungry immoral human beings.
If this has been going on in this slauter-house, it makes you wonder about the other ones. It was sickening to see this. It's best to be a vegetarian.
My dad knows a lot about nutrition and "old" lifestyle so he's educated me pretty well. I eat all kinds of meat. But what you call organic may not be organic unfortunately. Luckily my family and I have always lived near an Amish community and near a Physiologist who converted to a "farm" lifestyle. Everytime we got chickens we saw them running around, picking the worms, eating them etc. With cows and goats, they kill them by cutting their throat. Quick and the least painless method. I also used to help skinning them during the summer for an xtra buck. As far as milk, i dont drink much of it bc REAL farm milk is thick, fatty and creamy. It is good! but due to the fat one doesnt really want more than a small/medium glass. What we used to do w/the fat that came up to the surface after leaving it on the fridge, we'd spoon it out, put in a bowl and collect as much of it. Then we'd buy Amish bread and spread it on the bread. Yummy. As far as "groceries" we dont really buy anything from the store, except sometimes some Seafood and that we get at the asian market or mexican sweet bread since my friend just converted me to it. Good stuff =D However if i had to rely on supermarkets or big grocery stores, yeah i wouldnt be eating their meat...or much of other stuff for that matter. I dunno about you but sometimes i can taste the chemicals they put in the food, even "USDA Organic" food. Bit scary =S
