I was in Paris and I was in this fancy restaurant that i cannot pronouns and I had the best whatever there. (I didn't even go to Paris)

christmas at my aunts.

My first thanksgiving dinner with my boyfriend it was magical and so wonderful, it was also the day we first met in real life and the day we connected on levels unknown to anyone including us, we have been inseparable since then.

every meal my mom made for me and the family was the best meals I've ever had. now that I live by myself.....I miss those meals dearly.

Celebrating a friends 18th birthday at Monte Sainte Michelle in France. We went to some random little resturant and me and her shared a GREAT roasted chicken and pome frites (french fries) payed for by the guy that liked her (we were on a school trip). It's not so much the food I remember but the great time we had.

My last birthday dinner with my family in the states. Cosmos for an aperitif, shrimp *********.Steaks and lobster, crab...magnificent salads...good wines, and everyone singing happy birthday to me as I blew out the candles on the cake...Serendipity.

A month ago we got a gift card to one of the fanciest restaurants in town that we could never have afforded. We started with tropical drinks, then Mexican grilled prawns (which I've recreated at home), best Caesar salad ever, lobster bisque, lobster and steak, cappucino, coffee, pecan pie, and blackberry sorbet. The setting was so romantic, service was fabulous, the ambience was great. We will remember that meal forever.

when i was in new orleans i had this delicious pulled pork cajun sandwich on garlic bread with spicy steak fries. it was the best ever!

THE BEST meal I EVER had was in Atlantic City, NJ. Summer, 1991. It was "Pat's" Birthday ["THE Queen" as I referred to her].

We went to AC to win a few dollars at the Casino [It ws my first time gambling.]

We played the slots and a few table games - Black Jack, Craps, & Roulette.

We were hungry. I asked the Pit Boss where to eat. He told me, "Sir, you're not going to get any meal better than here, at this hotel in our dining room."

We took the elevator to the roof top dining room.
We were the ony party in that room. We were led to a table by the window, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

The room was softly lit by the glow of elegant, tall white candles in crystal candle holders. Our table had a fine linen, peach-colored tablecloth with matching napkins, folded like swans.

Sparkling silver flatware, fine crystal water glasses, fresh-cit flowers in a crystal vase, finished off with not-too-large dark wood salt and pepper grinders.

We started with out usual *********:
"Pat" had V.O. Manhattan
I had my usual summer ********: Smirnoff Silver Vodka with bitter lemon and double lime wedges.

Our Caesar Salad was made at our tableside.

Served between every course, to cleanse our palates, was freshly-made lemon ice.

Our entree was Chateaubriand - a double, centercut filet mignon, served on an oval wooden plank.

Around the border of the plank were piped, Dutchess potatoes - home made mashed potatoes with extra egg yolks, browned under the broiler.

On the inside of the potatoes border were asparagas spears on one end and fresh green beans on the other.

The Chateaubriand was placed in the center, topped with turned mushroom caps and enormous onion rings.

The Maitre d'Hotel carved and served everything at our tableside. It was cooked to perfection [medium-rare] and elegant!

Our dessert was Crepes Suzette made at our tablside. We had coffee. It was wonderful!

Our after-dinner drink was Courvoissier V.S.O.P. warmed in a crystal brandy snifter. I also had a snifter of Grand Marnier.

Throughout the whole meal we laughed, whispered in each other's ears and gazed into each other's eyes!

No one rushed us to hurry and dine. No one made any remarks about "having to get out of here."
Everything was perfect!

I paid the check. We stayed over. We got home early next morning. After all was said and done, I only had a few dollars.

BUT the whole evening, experience and day were worth every penny and dollar!

Thanks for asking your Q! I enjoyed answering it!

Very truly Yours,
