What is the shelf life on garlic cloves?!
Answers: I buy them at the farmer's market so they are probably pretty fresh when I get them. How long will they have good flavor? Thank you
Unbroken garlic bulbs will keep for up to 3 to 4 months. Individual cloves will keep from 5 to 10 days. Store in a cool, dark, and dry location (dampness is the enemy of garlic, so store away from stove and sink). If the cloves sprout, the garlic is still usable and the sprouts can be used for salads.
To preserve garlic cloves after they have been peeled, place them in a jar, cover with olive oil, seal jar, and store in refrigerator. They will stay fresh 3 to 4 months this way.

around 2 weeks
a long time. Ones you buy in the shops can easily be 6 months old. They keep well.
i'm thinking about 3 months
I 've had mine since November
I preserve garlic by mincing in the food processor with corn oil, then keeping the mixture in a bottle or jar in the fridge. Each time I need garlic, I just open the bottle and spoon out what I need. Garlic lasts forever this way, as long as the garlic is submerged in oil to prevent oxydation.
Fresh not really long I'll say 3 to a week but maybe you could peel it all and keep it in a little jar with some oil,I find it really handy and it give a great flavor to the oil.....:)
garlic is not that expensive but you shouldn't bye too much at the time.....
not realy sure but i keep mine in the fridge and they lsat for months, the flavours still good.
