Earthworm stew? These are full of protein.

Harrods used to sell boiled baby bees and chocolate covered ants.

Fried locust is good for you too [from Thailand]

I'm not joking either!

eat people, you can't buy people in a grocery shop and there are a lot of people around.

Ummm, Thats kind of gross and i don't eat bugs, but someone I know has eaten a grasshopper.

    garlic snails are great :)

i dont think that bugs would be the healthiest things to eat try eating at a friends house or something like that

Earthworms...dig em up and shovel em down!!!

Manhattan people must eat them because they are sold in the Museum of Natural History covered with chocolate. When I saw it, I couldn't believe it!

    thats just SICK!

i know someone who eats them but i will never talk to her again they taste like sort of soap whe said....

Actually bugs are edible but need to be "farmed" correctly to eliminate certain unsavory flavors and possible contaminants. You can contact a entomologist for complete instruction or a reference source. Many countries eat bugs as a staple to their diet they are high in protein - in the US however it is still looked upon as barbaric. There are books available at the library you may wish to review "survivalist" texts as they will also educate you on edible plant life that is probably growing locally and again is free to harvest. Good Luck!

FREAK!!! GET A JOB/ BETTER JOB!!

I'd say the ones with the softest exoskeleton, they have the most protein, but I believe most bugs are edible. Ever see "Empire of the Sun?" Some people eat bugs as delicacies and in some starving nations as basic sustenance. Worms are probably the best though. I read somewhere that the average person has eaten as many as 12 insects inadvertently in a lifetime because the really tiny ones get into flour that is used in breads and cakes, etc (and what about the spiders that crawl into our mouths as we sleep and we chew as a reflex?). Many of these insects have been eaten when we eat in a restaurant or fast food, outside of the home, you never really know what you're getting. Good luck, Bugeater!

You must be insane. Get a second job or something. Did it have to come to that point?

Bugs for food is very conservative of money, and effort. it takes 40% more of both to eat beef. I personally love chocolate covered ants. But you shouldn't just eat them out of the wild. buy them at cheap prices at bug stores that springing up all over the US.
