I have salt, pepper, red chili powder, mustard seeds, jeera, turmeric, coriander powder, bay leaves. I cook Indian foods mostly so all these are Indian spices. Go down the spices isle in the store and buy whatever you need for your cooking taste.

In addition to the first answer, a well-stocked kitchen is going to have Hungarian paprika, smoked paprika (very flavorful), saffron, thyme, rosemary, savory, celery seed, mace, anise, chili powders, assortments of peppercorns, lemon-pepper, assortment of sea salt, kosher salt

Being Italian, parsley, Rosemary, basil, sea salt, pepper, red pepper, fresh garlic, olive oil, balsamic vinegar.. List goes on, pasta, tomato, cheese,,etc... Come on over, see..
