Without a Cofee Machine, How Can I Make a Strong Coffee Shot?!
Hope someone can help me out. Thanks.
Answers: Hi everyone. I don't own a coffee maker but I was wondering how could I make an extremely strong shot of coffee?
Hope someone can help me out. Thanks.
Put the coffee grounds in a paper towel and use it like a tea bag (soak it in a cup of boiling water).
Or try buying chocolate-covered coffee beans for a quick buzz!
alot of coffee and a little bit of water
Buy a coffee filter and put it in a funnel. Then grind up some coffee beans (in a coffee grinder if you have one, but a regular food processor will work). Then, put the ground coffee beans in the filter. The thicker the layer of beens you have, the stronger your coffee will be. Next, gradually heat up a container for the coffee. You only need to do this if you want your coffee to be hot. To heat your container, which should be glass, hold it under your sink. Gradually make the water hotter and hotter, then eventually soak the container in boiling water. Place your hot container on a hot surface. DO NOT QUICKLY COOL DOWN YOUR CONTAINER, AS THE GLASS MAY SHATTER. Next, put your hot container under the funnel. Finally, VERY SLOWLY pour boiling water through the ground coffee. To maximize the strength of the coffee, don't just pour the water through one place. When you're done brewing it, all of the beans should be thoroughly soaked.
You can do this in one of two ways:
1) You can buy loose-tea bags at the store (they don't have tea in them). Or use an actual coffee filter. Put 2 or 3 tablespoons of finely ground coffee into the bag. Tie it off with thread or or just twist it closed and hold it with your fingers. Pour 4 oz. of boiling water into a cup. Steep the coffee in the water for 2 or 3 minutes. Don't use a paper towel (especially if it has color designs on it). I've tried that before and it tastes horrible.
2) Instant coffee (I prefer Taster's Choice over any of the others). Put 2 tablespoons of instant coffee into cup. Pour 4 oz. of boiling water into the cup. Stir until grounds are completely dissolved. That'll jack you up! lol
