Lightly toast the bread. Spread with pizza sauce. Add cheese and pepperoni. Broil until cheese melts.

Just lightly toast your regular bread and add the sauce and toppings and pop it under the broiler right away and it won't get soggy. I usually use pita bread or english muffins but if you toast regular bread it should work.

pre made pizza crusts
toasted english muffins

frozen, unbaked, unleavened white bread loaves and let defrost and rise for few hours, then flatten out

Pita bread makes a good pizza base. top with pizza toppings & cook in moderate oven for about 20 minutes ~ (The Pita bread doesn't go soggy)

You can make scone dough ~ which can be used as pizza base too.
Basic scone dough recipe:
2 cups self raising flour
pinch salt
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter/margarine
sift flour & salt. Rub in butter lightly with fingertips.
add sugar. Pour in milk. Mix to a soft dough. turn out on to floured board & knead lightly. Roll out to required pizza tray size. (about 1-2 cm thickness.)

Put pizza toppings on raw dough & cook in over (moderate) for about 30 minutes.
