Nice filet, no sauce, just plain cooked in its own juices, bloody in the middle, medium rare with lashings of salt and pepper. A small buttery new potatoe on the side with loads of caesar salad and brocoli.

flank steak, marinated in teryaki sauce its the best, like 4 mins on each side of the BBQ and your in heaven! if you cant do that nothing beats a T-bone or a new york!

I like a Sirloin, Medium, and definitely seared.
I don't really care for steak to much I'd much rather eat a piece of chicken or fish but if I had to have a steak it would be a Filet and it would be medium-rare. I happen to cook steak often because of working in a steak house part-time and I don't know any of the cooks who like their steak more then medium.
I personally like chicken- fried steak made with round steak.
Now I really do not eat much beef at all. If I eat it 4 times a year that is a lot. When I make beef for my family I generally just eat the sides...for the most part. However I went to a wedding a few years back and they had Chateaubriand. I hear it is filet mignon, but man o man it was great. You could cut it with a spoon and tasted wonderful, rare! That was the last time I had it though. I'd eat it again at some point.
