Not very long. I'm always eating my way through the fridge.

However, non food items can stay in my fridge a very long time.

So long that when I cleaned out the fridge, the rotten food was what was making the terrible smell.

My coffee candy.. I kept that around a year and now I already throw it. I hate that candy! There is so much and I don't like the taste.

I cleaned out my grandma's fridge in the late 90's and found some condiments that had expired in 1979.

I don't know why but I've had the same bottle of Tabasco in my mini fridge for about eight years! I've lived in 4 different states, and 6 different house, but still have this same bottle of Tabasco sauce

4 years...cough drops...they're still good, but the wrapper sticks to it. :-D

3 months.........Hehehehe! I'm talking about sweet mustard (sandwich) pickles & tomato sauce. They keep for a long time.
