Can pickles go bad?!

Question: I am cleaning out my fridge, and have a jar of pickles. I can't remember the last time I bought them, and.. there is no expiration date. could they have gone bad?

The general rule for pickles is once opened they need to be refrigerated. They say that they keep for 1-2 months in the fridge or 1 year if they have never been opened. I suggest you buy some new pickles, but that's just me.

yes, if they are left out of the fridge, yes, they can go bad.

as long as they are in the jar in a cold place without any discolorations they should be OK but just to make sure try 1!!

if there's no expiration and you kept them in a cool place they should be ok... but if they were left outside for a long period of time they won't be too good... bc they were in vinegar they shud be fine, but if u're still not sure take a bite a check the flavor... and rather then live w/ doubt about it just buy a new jar! :)

if they taste bad they are bad--if they taste like a pickle, they are good

yes they can if there warm or out they will go bad

As long as there un-opened they should be fine. If they were opened I would tast one, if it tast normal then there still fine.
