How can I change my HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE diet?!
Answers: Ok I'm addicted to one meal, 3 times a day, EVERY DAY. I don't eat much of anything else. It's gunna sound crazy but it's 1 piece of toast with peanut butter, honey and bacon bits on top along with a glass of chocolate milk. If you haven't tried it, DO but don't get addicted because I did and I've been eating this for lik 6 years straight!!! I'm not overweight or anything but feeling very fatigued and run down all the time. I think it's finally catching up to me but I'm SERIOUSLY addicted!! This isn't a joke!!! I also take a vitamin with my toast but still...what can I do to become more healthy with my diet? I seriously cannot just quit doing this cold turkey, I feel like I have OCD when it comes to this!!! HELP PLEASE!!!
Maybe you can coat some wedges of apple in honey and put that on top of the peanut butter with the bacon bits on top of that? It adds a fruit to your diet.
On a serious note this is messed up, cut down to eating 1 of those 'meals' a day and open your mind to new foods, new sandwichs or anything else. Just add abit of fruit and veg and if you don't like them, rub them in stuff you do like.
Poop on some toast. Spread it around, then consume.
well then dont give it up cold turkey, add other things with this. and wane yourself off of it with exploring different foods. i think it affected your brain because this is a really easy question to figure out....
There's nothing wrong with that, but you should eat much more of it.
VARIETY.
The likley reason you reach for the toaster is because it's quick, simple and satisfying. I do that a lot with this cheese ravioli I get from Costco. But yes, your body needs variety because the bare minimum nutrients you are receiving from this toast gig is definitley not enough.
Just try and imagine how many nutrients you could possibly get from your habit-meal. Then think about how many nutrients your body needs for optimal health. The reason you're probally tired is because you are not getting enough iron. As a woman, you need tonnes of that.
Maybe it is that you don't like cooking. Try to get as many ready-to-go meals as possible, in the healthiest variety so when you get the craving, you have other just as easy options available to you.
Another thing, now that you realize that it's a habit, you can chose to break it. It gets easier every time you resist the urge, so remember that.
I think you may need to see a therapist to help you thru this OCD behavior. The reason you are feeling awful is because you are lacking so many good things in your diet including Iron. You will stop once you wind up in the hospital.
