Gas Staion hot dogs: Eat em or leave em?!
Personally I had my first about 2 hours ago and I just got done running to the bathroom... so... I'm thinking it might be my last also lol.

This is so wrong - but the quick trip has these sausage-pig-in-a-blanket type things that have jalapeno and cheddar - in the BREAKFAST foods and I just love them!
64 oz of diet coke and one of these and my hangover is gone
I've eaten 7-11 hot dogs. So far, so good.
at gas stations they are gross just to look at - I never eat them unless they are burnt on a BBQ
I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. I love gas station hot dogs. Especially when they include chili and cheese.
what do you really expect , it's gas station food , that's even worse than fast food joints .
I work at a gas station and let me tell you some of my coworkers do not know what food safety is, I worked fast food too so I am a little more careful as I know food safety procedures. I make sure they aren't on the grill for too long, a good indication is when they are getting old they get wrinkled and really greasy looking.
gas station hot dogs?? best damn junk food in the world. but i don't think you would be dumpin em after only 2 hours
almost as good as ballpark dogs...unless they look like they have obviously been out for waaaaay too long!
If I need gas I go to gas station. If I need to eat I go to some place that depends on the quality of the food served to stay in business. I don't see many people in gas stations that look like they care about how the weenies in the warmer are doing. Eat some packaged food or canned food out of a Seven-Eleven if you really must. In department stores years ago they had a candy counter where you never wanted to partake. The storage rooms were alive with roaches and mice.
Honestly leave em, I have had quite a few hotdogs from many vendors in my life and gas station ones are always the worse. with SA toping the list so far in bad hotdogs. Even got my girls sick when they shared one, it wasnt pretty. If you want a good hotdog get Nathans, hmm either gently boiled or fried til they turn in to a Ripper its darn good and you dont end up on the Can 10 mins later regreting eating it.
