Question: i dont go out and work extremly hard...

Answers: i dont go out and work extremly hard...

well providing it is a unit or 2- a small glass of wine, 1/2 pint is usually one unit, then that's your 14-21 units, which is the maximum reccommended and it's much better than drinking them all in one go. If you feel you need to cut down, why not try having one alcohol free evening and see how it goes, then increase your alcohol free evenings as you see fit. I wouldn't say it'a ideal to drink so much every week, but there are far worse things you could be doing to yourself!

no way thats just fine

depends

they say a glass of wine a night is very beneficial to you

I dont think so its when you cant do without a drink its time to worry , Like you said you work hard so a drink ot two in the evening will help you to unwind

my italian mother-in-law is 73 and she swears by a glass of red wine a day.. she says it's good for the blood

It would depend on your definition of a drink. If you mean one or two beers. That seems OK.

If you mean a drink = 8 oz of vodka, probably not.

I have one or two glasses of wine every evening and it not only tastes great, it helps me to relax! I'd make sure I drank at least a pint of water before going to bed though, if I were you.

if it is vodka and coke then yes, but if its beer than it fine

2 or 3 beers or glasses of wine would probably do more good than harm.

If you 'need' it every night, its an addiction

One or two is good for you

i guess not

You really should have a night off the pop per week, but hey, life's too short for sobriety!

My husband doesn't seem to think so

sounds like just enough to keep you sane.

Drinking in moderation is fine , it's when a drink or 2 because a bottle or 2 and when it affect's your work . But a few bottles of beer or vodka's will help you chill and relax after a busy stressed day - u enjoy

no its fine the best one's for you are pints of guinness and red wine not both in the same nite though, lol

I'd say not too much unless of course it is something you can't go without... then it could be a problem :P

studys in france show that coronary heart disease is lower than in the USA even though the typical french diet is high in saturated fat. The reason points to the reservatol in red wine.

Anyone that wants reservatol can get it in peanuts (which has more than red wine) and grapes. The japanese take it as a supplement to avoid cancer and viruses.

Nope, a drink or two is actually good for you. Especially if it's red wine. Stick with light beer, unless you can't stand the taste of it or else you might get a spare tire up front.

if you can limit yourself to just that, than you are probably ok. now, when and if you get to the point to where you can't go with out it, or one or two drinks leads to 3,4,or 5, then you might look into possibly a problem. Everyone is different, unfortunately my two or drinks every night led to an alcohol problem. But once again, everyone is different just because one individual has a drinking problem does not mean that the next does. I can only speak for myself. For now, enjoy your cocktails, but be weary of it escalates.

No, it's about perfect!

I wouldn't say it was too much at all. It's actually better to do it this way than binge drink on one or two nights.

Try and limit it to every two nights.

no thats fine alot of people have adrink when they get home so they can switch off and relax

u are fine. work hard drink hard.................

it depends on the drinks itself.
If it's wine or beer, then nothing wrong with it. It is actually recognise that ONE glass red wine a day is good for the health.
If it's spirits, then watch how much you put in your glass.

2 Drinks time to time is not bad, if it's every single nights, your body might get use to, and in one hand it may not have to "relaxing" effect in long run, in other hand, your body might crave if you don't have those 2 drinks one day.

cheers

It depends. If you drive after you consume those 1 or 2 you could be in beeeeg trouble. And if eventually (which it will happen), you get to where you have to have those little 1 or 2 drinks every evening, then you have become an alcoholic. And then its very hard to do without them & get off the souse. Please. Only drink occassionaly.
