Is there something wrong with my Oolong Tea?!

Question: I'm trying to make my own (cold) Oolong Tea
I boiled my water on the stove about 10-12cups and then placed 5 Oolong Tea bags in the boiled water... I let it sit on the stove to cool before putting in a jug... I noticed a film over the top of the water but didn't think it was anything... but I just poured it over a glass of ice and now it looks like i've got brown floaties all in my glass... should I have taken the film off the top before I poured it? how would I do that? and it tastes ok but have I done something wrong?

The problem you're experiencing is happening because you're using boiling water. Try reducing the water temperature a bit to just below boiling. Also, don't sit the bags for too long, 3-4 minutes should do!

sounds like the teabag broke...
