Agave as a sweetener?!

Question: Hi all, so I read today that there is a sweetener made from the agave plant, the same plant made to make tequila, they said it can be used to sweeten things like corn bread and drinks ( ice tea and the like) so my question is has anyone tried this sweetener, and can you use it in recipes, for instance baking? Thanks for your help, no mean answers please!!

I love agave. I use it everyday. It can be used instead of sugar in just about everything. it dissolves instantly, is not overly sweet, and is very good for you (very natural). This fructose will not make your blood sugar spike and crash like other sugars and sugar substitutes. It keeps your blood sugar level consistent which is definitely a plus. And it doesn't have a strong flavor that you would get sick of either. Also, it only takes a very small amount to get the sweetness needed.

Hope I convinced you Little Chef! :)
