Bok choy is it any good?!
Answers: i was just wondering if it was any good and what do you cook it with?
It's very earthy and takes on the taste of whatever broth you cook with it. It gives texture similar to a wilty celery and does keep some crunch in the middle portion of the leaf. I've cooked with it a few times: all recipes used were of Asian food: stir fry, won ton soup, and a vegetable chicken medley.
Very bland to me and no matter I cook it with it is still bland.
It's beautiful and great in a stir fry or laksa.
basically anything you want but you usually put meat any kind of meat...... it's delicous.
Its just a type of cabbage. Its not any better or any worse than any OTHER type of cabbabe I've tried.
St. Patrick's Day is coming up. You could try some Corned Beef and Bok Choy.
You can put bok choy into your instant noodle..

I chop it up and add it to veggie stir-fry.

It tastes quite well, to be honest.
You usually cook it with cabbage and different kinds of meat.
From experience, I do not recommend lamb or anything fatty.
That's like eating a Big Mac with fatty rib.
I hope this helps.
PS: I miss the Mcrib!
Very, very good in stir Fry's. Good with pork or chicken. I haven't had any in awhile, sounds good.
I'm more of a Mitsubishi, but you could use whatever you want.
It is a very common veggie in Asian cooking.
It kind of tastes like Celery but not as grainy or as fibrous.
I enjoy it and I am very picky.
