Do Twinkies expire?!
Before that happens, however, they're a tasty once-a-year snack. Well, maybe twice a year. They taste very different now than they did when they first came out (my dad helped build one of the bakeries where they were manufactured and brought home from their surplus store on Fridays). They were more like homemade sponge cake originally, no chemical taste to them. I wish they'd go back to the original recipe.
Answers: Yes, but as with any other "food" that is mainly devitalized flour, grease and sugar, they have so little nutritive value that it takes a while unless they get too warm too long; that shortens their life, makes them rancid, slimy and moldy.

probably
yes and you will know when it starts to mold.
No. Peter Griffin said so.
Oh yeah that's what it was. Nuclear holocaust.
I saw an interview of the CEO of the company that manufactures Twinkies. He said that he heard an urban legend that Twinkies could survive a nuclear holocaust. He said he didn't know if that was true, but he didn't want to wait to find out (joke).
Otherwise, I don't think Twinkies come with an expiration date on the package, so I wouldn't worry about them expiring.
No but they survive and explosin Peter Griffin Said So
HA YES defintely....in my grandmas basement i saw twinkies and hoho's from like 2 yrs ago, i found them like when we were helping my uncle move out from her house it was sick. i saw they can defintely go bad and i woodnt try them if u paid me.lol.krispie
Yes they will get bad. But I put mine in the freezer and they last for up to six months or more this way. Not that I have them that long! I do this will prepackaged cupcakes, tastykakes or any other packaged (Hostess,TastyKake) goodies. They also taste great frozen!
i don't know, but they sure are delicious!!! :)
