Is it bad to eat a lot of peppermints?!

Question: How much is "a lot?" A handful, probably not unless you're a diabetic. After all, they're pure sugar and have absolutely no nutritional value.

On the other hand, really big quantities (like a really big bagful in one sitting) is bound to be bad. Not only is all that sugar going to be inviting bacteria to binge in your mouth but even non-diabetics can have too much sugar.

Ah, but those chocolate covered peppermint cremes, who can resist one more?

no not that im aware of

Well its just sugar really.
So...if you eat a lot of them then yeah :)

just for your waistine

When sugar is being consumed, often times there will be enough residual sugar that it will stick to your teeth. When your saliva is working to start digesting this residue, it creates an excessive amount of acid. This acid is what weakens your enamel and creates cavities.

not for your breath anyway :)

no i don't think so.
