Is it safe to eat mashed potatoes that fell on the floor?!
Answers: i was making some mashed potatoes and i wasn't really paying attention when i knocked the bowl off of the counter with the mixer. most of the mashed potatoes spilled out, but i quickly scooped them back into the bowl. there were a few stray hair that i saw, but i think i was able to get them out. do you think it's safe to serve them at my dinner party tonight?
my daughter stepped on crap out side came inside the kitchen.. do you think the kitch floor is clean??? toilet set looks clean lets lick it...........your nasty throw them away go buy the already made potatoes..your a dork
Do not feed that food to other people.
If you want to eat it yourself, fine. But have some standards for what you serve to guests.
god made dirt...so dirt dont hurt
Sure. And you don't have to wash your hands after going to the bathroom either. And you can give them eating utensils that you cleaned by licking them. What they don't know can't hurt you.
Oh, and you should get your dog to lick off those bits of hair in the mashed potatoes while you're at it.
Hope you know sarcasm when you read it.
I agree! Five second rule and all, but can you imagine what your guests will think should they discover a hair in their food? Let's just say the party invitaions will be drying up pretty soon should you decide to go ahead with the idea.
No would you like to be eating the left over hair of someone else? What if you did not get all the hair out? You want the embarrassment of having a guest find that hair for you? Don't do it the results could be really embarrassing!
I work for the Board of Health. Many tests have been done on food falling to the floor. The 5 second rule should never apply. Bacteria instantly clings on the food, no matter how many seconds or minutes it has been there. Let me ask you this, if you went to someone's house for dinner and they served you lemonade....would you still drink it if they told you they made it with toilet water????
Think about it.
Bin them.
Then for speed, heat up and serve some frozen mashed potatoes e.g. in the UK , use Aunt Bessie's and in the States use your supermarket's own brand.
you are so gross
and get real
get off this site as you are abusing
No...make some more.....germ city...would you want to eat something that had fell on the floor...ewwwwww
