How long can fresh meat be stored in the fridge before it goes off?!

Question: I don't have meat that often, but I'm having some delivered and I don't know whether to freeze it all or not.

I only keep meat 2-3 days tops in fridge then make it. An even with my 2-3 day then toss rule in my house I still smell it and look at it, if looks or smells funny goes right in trash. Meat is to risky to risk feeding to my family. Better safe the sorry.

you only keep in the fridge if you are defrosting it. if it's for storage purposes, freeze it

Freeze it, you don't want to store it In the frig unless your going to cook it with in two days.
